Be prepared and voter ID will be no problem

EDITOR: The April 10 front page article described long lines and discussed the new voter ID law. The biggest reason I saw for long and slow lines was people standing in line and only when at the registration table did they then dig into wallets and purses to pull out their ID.

Here’s how to make the lines move faster. Have clear signs that say “Have your ID out and ready to present and announce your name and address when you get to the registration table.” When I did that, I was checked off and signed in in less than 30 seconds.
