All-Marawood fall teams announced
WAUSAU - The Stratford football team had the top rushing attack in the Marawood Conference this year, averaging 274 yards per game.
Kam Bornbach played a big part in that production for the Tigers as he maybe as he averaged 7.49 yards per carry and scored 15 touchdowns.
The senior, who helped Stratford to an undefeated conference season, was named the Marawood's top back late last week.

Bornbach is just one of the highlights on the all-conference football team.
Marathon's Bryce Seubert was a first-team selection on both offense and defense and was selected the Marawood's lineman of the year.
Rib Lake/Prentice's Mark Krommenacker and Jeremy Brayton were named the co-coaches of the year.
Bornbach was one of seven Stratford players to be named to the first team on either offense or defense. Bornbach also was a first-team selection at inside linebacker.
Marathon junior Donavon Free also was a first-team selection at quarterback and defensive back, as was teammate Mitchell Putnam at running back and defensive back.
Edgar's Alec Hafferman was a first-team pick at running back and outside linebacker.
VOLLEYBALL
Newman Catholic led the Marawood with three first-team selections.
Senior Mariah Whalen and junior Rylie Vaughn were both unanimous selections and junior Julianne Barkholz was a first-team selection as well.
Whalen and Vaughn were among the six unanimous selections on the Marawood South Division first team.
Stratford junior Makayla Krall and sophomore Mazie Nagel were both unanimous selections as was Marathon senior Amanda Kind and junior Jenna Dick.
Athens junior Kaitlyn Brooks was one of five unanimous selection on the North Division team. Phillips' Jojo Baratka and Morgan Edwards, Prentice's Brianna Schelin and Rib Lake's Katie Cardey were also unanimous selections.
Abbotsford senior Taygen Viegut and Edgar senior Macey Wirkus were first team selections as well.
